I loved how well the stole was made. The fabric was cut well and it was neatly folded. It truly looked like a lot of time was spent on it, which made me proud to wear it.
First off, I was treated as a valuable customer. I ordered stoles for friends and wanted them personalized beyond the samples that were provided and I received great attention and EXACTLY what I wanted. Everyone wondered how it was done and where I got them from. The recipients of the stoles were overwhelmed. They had never seen such a customized and professionally made stole. The medallions really set it off though, because no one else had anything like it.

Our students cherish their Kente Stoles. They have framed them, shared with family members, graduating from other institutions, and continue to wear them on other formal occasions. It’s a tradition we’ve started for our African American grads that let them know how proud we were to serve them as faculty.
Three years ago, I was searching for a culturally symbolic gesture to recognize the rites of passage or promotion from eight grade to high school. I called Prime Heritage and shared my vision with the owner. Thanks to Prime Heritage, we are able to charge each student during the conferral ceremony to officially represent their village (school) by wearing their Kente Stoles four years later as a high school graduate.
